- ESCA AGM 11/12/11 Eddleston Village Hall
- Ken Whitson reinstated as ESCA chairman
AGM call received from Tom Arnott 28/10/11:
The date of this meeting will be recorded in the Minutes of the ESCA executive meeting held on 26th October. This notice is an additional reminder that also contains additional information for you and your SC/BC members.
The venue for the meeting is Eddleston Village Hall, familiar to many as the HQ of the Meldons MTT. In order to facilitate those who wish to cycle to the meeting it will start at 12 noon. There will be a break for refreshments at ca. 2.00 p.m.
Meeting papers will be circulated as soon as they are available. In addition to the usual reports, the Agenda will include ratification of the Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 17thAugust.
Your Executive is keenly aware that 2011 has been a turbulent time in ESCA’s history. The re-instatement of the Chair, Ken Whitson, signals a partial resolution of the situation. The AGM is the members’ opportunity to debate outstanding issues so that the best way forward can be determined to ensure the Association encompasses and promotes all the cycling disciplines that members compete in.
If your club wishes to table motions that seek to realise this aim, or any other competent AGM business, I remind you that they must be lodged with the Executive on or before the 13th of November so that the Executive can confirm that they are competent and distribute them with the AGM Agenda and associated documents.
